The major project I’m working on currently is turning this digital napkin scribble into a fully flushed-out wireframe for a mobile music app.

I recently came back from a family trip to Cuba, where I maxed-out my memory cards on all 3 cameras with 1000+ pictures and videos.
Out of those, around 200 made it through Lightroom and onto my Flickr page, and according to the stats, the Cuba 2012 album has been viewed over 3000 times!
I’ve seen countless Cuba-themed photography books that focus on cars or poverty, and while those things are indeed photogenic, I wanted to try capturing something new.
My idea is to use an “entry theme” (if you go through the photos, you can see some are titled as such) to showcase the pervasive feeling I got during my travels: that there is more than what you see from the outside—colorful, robust, and detailed private lives reside behind the decay of Cuban infrastructure, and the true spirit of the Cuban people is only just beginning to emerge to the world at large.
